1. General provisions
1.1. This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) sets out how personal data of users of the DuckConnect service (the “Service”) is collected, stored, processed and protected.

1.4. By using the Service (the website duckconnect.info and the Telegram bot), the User consents to the processing of personal data in accordance with this Policy.
2. Data collected
2.1. Account data. Email address: for signing in, receipts and service emails. When Telegram is linked: the identifier (Telegram ID), the username, the first and last name from the profile and the Telegram language settings that you shared through the sign-in widget.
2.2. Data related to use of the Service: information about the selected plan; subscription activation and end dates; the amount of traffic used (in aggregate); payment data (the last 4 digits of the card and transaction information through payment providers; full card details are not stored).
2.3. Technical data. Service logs of the website and infrastructure (errors, security events), for the stability and protection of the Service.
3. Purposes of data processing
3.1. Personal data is processed solely for: providing access to the Service and managing subscriptions; technical support of Users; preventing abuse and ensuring the security of the Service; fulfilling obligations to the User; complying with the requirements of the laws of the Slovak Republic.
Promotional mailings are not sent without the User’s consent.
4. Activity log policy
4.1. The Operator follows the principle of minimal data collection and does not keep logs of users’ internet activity.
5. Data storage and protection
5.1. Data is stored on secure servers using modern security standards.
5.2. Access to personal data is limited to authorized persons.
5.3. Data is retained for the period of use of the Service and for 12 months after use ends. When this period expires, the data is destroyed.
6. Transfer of data to third parties
6.1. The Operator does not sell, exchange or transfer personal data to third parties, except: where there is a mandatory requirement under the laws of the Slovak Republic (a court decision, a request from authorized bodies); where it is necessary to process payments (the minimum necessary data is passed to the payment provider).
6.2. When data is transferred to payment providers and infrastructure contractors (hosting, email service), the Operator ensures that they comply with data protection standards; each of them receives only the data needed for its function.
7. Rights of the User
7.1. The User has the right to: request information about the personal data stored; demand correction of inaccurate data; demand deletion of personal data; request export (portability) of their data; withdraw consent to the processing of personal data.
7.2. To exercise these rights, the User may contact us through the contact form. Requests are fulfilled within 30 calendar days.
8. Compliance with standards
8.1. The Operator seeks to comply with international standards of personal data protection, including the principles of the GDPR and the CCPA.
8.2. Data is processed in accordance with the personal data protection laws of the Slovak Republic.
9. Cookies and analytics
9.1. The website uses only technical cookies; details are in the Cookie Policy. The Telegram bot does not use cookies.
9.2. The Operator may collect anonymized statistics on use of the Service to improve the quality of service.
10. Changes to the Policy
10.1. The Operator may amend this Policy by notifying Users through the website or the Telegram bot at least 7 days before the changes take effect.
10.2. The current version of the Policy is always available on the website duckconnect.info and through the Telegram bot.
